How it works
GLP-1 medicines work like a hormone your body already makes. They help you feel full sooner and keep blood sugar steadier, so eating less feels easier.
A fully digital, 2-year medical weight-loss programme. One licensed doctor is assigned to your case from day one and manages every dose, every check-in and every result for the full two years.
No clinic queues. You complete everything online, and a licensed doctor reviews your results before anything is prescribed.

Complete a short online health form — your measurements, goals, and any existing conditions. About five minutes.

We send a lab request. You visit a nearby clinic for a standard blood draw; results go straight to your doctor.

Your doctor decides on suitable treatment.
Medical treatment is generally considered in two situations. Your doctor always makes the final decision from your full clinical picture.
Generally eligible for treatment.
Eligibility is always confirmed by a doctor, never automatically.
Mawzuna uses once-weekly GLP-1 medicines, widely used in medical weight management. You don't pick a product — your doctor chooses the medicine and the dose for you, and adjusts both as you progress.

A small pre-filled pen you use yourself, once a week. The app shows you how to inject and when your next dose is due.
Your dose starts low and only goes up when your doctor decides you're ready — never straight to the maximum.
Your doctor picks the medicine from your health history, lab results and goals — and can change it if another option suits you better.
Mild nausea or stomach upset is common at first. Report how you feel in the app — severe symptoms are flagged to your care team.
A short check-in in the app each week — your weight, how you're feeling, any side effects — so your doctor can decide the next step.
Medication isn't included in the programme fee. You pay for it separately at your pharmacy, and your doctor talks you through the options first.
A clear path from your first form to long-term results — with the same doctor guiding every step.
Complete a short health form and a blood test. Your doctor reviews everything and decides whether treatment is suitable.
You begin on a low dose. The app shows you how to inject and when each weekly dose is due.
Short weekly check-ins in the app. Your doctor raises, holds or lowers your dose based on your progress and how you feel.
Follow-up blood tests and a steady dose, with the same doctor looking after you for the full two years.
Every prescription and every dose change is made by your licensed doctor — never automatically.
Your dose follows how you respond — increased, held or reduced — not pushed to the maximum by default.
If a check-in shows something that needs attention, it's flagged to your care team for follow-up.

Straight answers about eligibility, medication, cost and your care.
Treatment is generally considered if your BMI is 30 or above, or 27 or above with a weight-related condition such as type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol.

You complete a short online health form, then we send you a lab request for a standard blood test at a nearby clinic. Your results go straight to your doctor, who reviews everything and decides whether treatment is suitable.
If it is, your doctor issues your prescription and you collect your medication from a pharmacy. Nothing is prescribed automatically.
The most common side effects are stomach-related — nausea, a reduced appetite, diarrhoea or constipation. They are usually mild, happen most often when you start or when your dose goes up, and tend to ease with time. Starting on a low dose and increasing slowly helps.
Your doctor will go through the risks with you before you start. Severe or persistent stomach pain, or vomiting you can't keep fluids down, needs urgent medical attention.
No. Your medication is paid for separately at the pharmacy. Your doctor will talk you through the options before anything is prescribed, so there are no surprises.
Yes. You can report how you're feeling in the app at any time, day or night. Severe symptoms are flagged to your care team for follow-up.
The app is not an emergency service. If your symptoms are severe or you feel very unwell, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department.
Message your care team in the app before you stop. Your doctor will advise you on pausing safely and on how to restart — after a break, your dose may need to start lower again rather than picking up where you left off.
Your health information is encrypted and protected under local data-protection law. Access is restricted to the clinicians involved in your care, so your records are only seen by the people looking after you.
Having one doctor for the full two years means they know your history and every decision about your treatment. If you'd still prefer a different doctor, message your care team and we'll help.
